Unsavouray issues at Kolkata

I have come to know that a small issue of police reaching the Kolkata office on strike day (02/09/2016) has been blown out of proportion by the NBEA, Kolkata Unit. That inspite of the fact that you and CGM of the WB RO have very tactfully handled the situation and neither the officers or the management has made any deliberate attempts to disrupt the strike call given by the NBEA.

 

AINBOA has always stood by the Trade Unions as and when any occassion has arisen in the larger interest of the banking Industry and to also foster the fraternity among the officers and employees of our own organisation.

However, we are pained to note uncalled for, unneccessary and unfriendly rants against the officers of Kolkata Unit by the local leadership of the NBEA. Incidentally, avoidable issues were also raked up by NBEA's Orissa unit on strike day, however timely intervention by NBEA's central unit office-bearers somehow diffused the situation. You will agree that though we are all for unity and fraternity among the officers and employees of the bank, but any attempt to wrongfully malign and hit at the dignity of the officers community cannot be accepted.

 

We also very strongly resent the medelling into the internal affairs of  NABARD by an Ex-Chairman of NABARD. Incidentally, he was the person who did maximum damage to the parity issue when he was heading the NABARD and many of the decisions taken by him still pinch our organisation.

AINBOA, therfore, calls upon its membership to not to succumb to threats of any kind and do not allow anyone to take a dig at your dignity and honor. The entire AINBOA across the country is and will always stand with our fraternity be it at Kolkata , Bhubneshwar or any other part of the country.
