Officers on Agitation Path : Allotment of Quarters at Raipur

CHIEF GENERAL MANAGER (HRMD)                                                                                            06/09/2016
NABARD , HEAD OFFICE
MUMBAI

Dear Sir ,
Officers on Agitation Path : Allotment of Quarters at Raipur

We have been informed by our Raipur unit that the officers are agitated and are resorting to peaceful and democratic protest to express their grievance in respect to forced shifting to residential quarters at Naya Raipur.

Sir , we have been time and again bringing to the notice of the bank that the quarters at the Naya Raipur are not in habitable conditions due to non availability of basic infrastructure within reachable distances. As the location is bereft of even basic medical facilities (such as doctors clinics , medical stores and or even a Primary Health Centre ) , public or private transportation, provision stores and other daily requirement stores such as milk etc. it would be very very difficult for the officers and their families to cope up with the situation. More so the distance of the residential site from the main city is app.20 kms. making the commuting for school going children as also the aged dependents , in case of needs , to city , next to impossible.

AINBOA has discussed the issue and submitted memorandum to the bank on numerous occasions including during the last Joint consultative Committee meeting , but in-spite of assurances from the bank , nothing concrete has come out.

In the circumstances the officers of Chattisgarh RO are left with no other choice but to resort to agitation and the All India unit of the AINBOA alongwith it all other units are in solidarity with Raipur unit.

Meanwhile we have decided to send a delegation of office-bearers to Raipur on 22/09/2016 to take a first hand account of the situation and accordingly decide the further course of action on the issue, if required.

We, therefore, request you to favourably intervene  so that the industrial harmony is restored immediately at Raipur.

Thanking you

Yours Sincerely ,

(Dr.D.S.Chauhan)
General Secretary
