AGITATION PROGRAMME

Dear Unit Secretaries,

First of all I would like to convey my regrets that I was not able to keep you all posted on many things and was not able to devote fully to NBOA activities. It was not by design but due to certain very very pressing domestic exigencies arising out of severe health issues of family. Now that this personal issue of mine is under control, I assure you that you will find me back on AINBOA platform back and with same vigour. Inconvenience caused to all of you due to my forced laxity is deeply regretted.

Having said this, I would like to thank all the members, Unit office-bearers, CEC members and central unit office bearers for keeping the NBOA afloat and participating whole-heartedly in its calls and activities despite late and very often very very late communications.

Central Unit thanks all its members for the solidarity shown on 09/06/2012 lecture by not participating in the Lunch and other freebies and frills offered by the bank. I have come to know that reports were floated that some of our members have participated in the official Lunch.  We do not deny it but on enquires we have come to know that the NBOA appeal asking its members from desisting to partake lunch etc. could not reach them on time as it was issued by me/us only at 04:30 PM on 08/06/2012. So the responsibility for this hiccup solely lies on me and I assure the membership that in future it would be taken care of. FRIENDS, INSPITE OF SUCH A SHORT NOTICE AND ALMOST NO FOLLOW-UP THE LUNCH BOYCOT CALL WAS A GRAND SUCCESS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.

 We call upon all of you, as unit secretaries/president to further motivate, unite and organise all the membership and make the following agitational/protest program a grand success. You are also requested to widely circulate our letter dated 08/06/2012 addressed to all the members.

1. 30 years of NABARD celebration- Members are requested, as already advised earlier on 08/06/2012, not to participate/organise any cultural program or get together , accept any gift/souvenir/sweets etc and also not to participate in Lunch, Dinne, Hi Tea etc. to be organised/offered by the bank at the time of lectures/talk/seminars etc. NBOA is intimating this stand of ours to bank also would request not to arrange lunch etc. and gift/souvenir or sweets for officers as it will be a waste of resources.

2. All the units (bigger ones specially) may arrange Blood donation camp on 12/07/2012. Please Confirm. (You may approach local Blood Bank or Red Cross for the purpose and take the help of BMOs).

3. Arrange a Lunch hour demonstration along with AINBEA on 15/06/2012

4. Arrange a Lunch hour demonstration along with AINBEA on 25/06/2012

5. Arrange for Submission of memorandum signed by all the officers on 09/07/2012 to PMO , FM and RBI (Draft memorandum being forwarded separately).
