Ref. No.NBOA/ 172A /20011-12 dated 10 February 2012
The Chairman
NABARD
Head Office
Mumbai
Dear Sir
Improvement in the LTC (air travel) facility of officers
We invite a reference to the LTC (Air Travel) Scheme of the bank for officers. The eligibility of the officers under the captioned scheme is presently calculated on the basis of farthest
destination traveled by the officer, which works out differently for the officers posted at different places. Our referral institution RBI has since streamlined the scheme to provide uniform entitlement to all officers under the scheme, simplified the system of submission of the LTC bills/receipts and had also reviewed the dependency criteria under the scheme. We request you to kindly streamline our scheme on the same line as RBI. Copies of the relevant RBI circulars are enclosed.
Yours Sincerely
U.K.Mohanty
President
