Dear Sir,
Victimization of Sri VVBS Murthy, Manager
It is
to be humbly submitted that certain documents acquired by Sri VVBS Murthy,
Manager under RTI Act, 2005 bore very clearly that the officer has been made to
suffer in his career progression due to a caustic remark recorded by the CGM
concerned in his PAR towards Mr Murthy’s legitimate activities as Secretary of
the Orissa Unit Of NBOA.
It is very unfortunate that a sincere and efficient officers PAR was evaluated on parameters other than those pertaining to the official duties assigned to him and he has been punished and victimized for simply being an office-bearer of a recognized representative body. Incidentally, the CGM concerned has not assigned any specific incident of indiscipline or misbehavior to Sri Murthy while recording a remark that officer concerned was ‘actively involved in Association activities’. It is expected that as a primary office-bearer of the NBOA, Sri Murthy ought to be actively involved in Associations activities. More so Sri Murthy took more than adequate care to carry on his official assignments as PS to CGM efficiently and he never allowed his NBOA responsibilities to tinker with his official assignments. The PARs of Sri Murthy pre and post this particular reporting also bears testimony to the fact that Sri Murthy has been a sincere, efficient and a highly rated officer of this organization and his victimization on ground of being an office bearer of NBOA is highly unjustified and objectionable.

Subsequent
to Sri Murthy being penalized for no fault of his, he has exhausted all the
available official channels towards seeking justice to his cause, but
unfortunately the bank has chosen to overlook his grievance and officer
continues to suffer.
In the
circumstances we request your personal and favourable intervention as head of
the organization so as to grant due justice to the officer concerned and
request granting of an early relief to the just cause.
