Dear
Nitin bhai,
It
seems a just another day when I met you in one of the meetings of NBOA at
Mumbai. You were then posted at Guwahati and as usual you were at your
passionate best while discussing things at that meeting. In a sudden surge of
momentarily anger against Sri Oomen, you staged a walkout from the meeting...i
was a newly elected Zonal Secretary and not much versed with NBOAs intrinsic
workings...but I developed a grudging respect for your passionate and sincere
approach towards the cause...you may have forgotten but I still remember
explicitly that I couldn’t stop myself and came out and persuaded you to rejoin
the meeting...its almost a decade since then and I have been privileged to be
associated with you in the NBOA...you have not changed a bit and today also you
are the same 'angry young man' of NBOA.
The
efforts put in by you to strengthen the NBOA, during your tenure as Organising
Secretary of NBOA and also as Secretary of Mumbai Unit, are there to be seen by
all and I as General Secretary and on behalf of all the members of NBOA
acknowledge your contribution great fully and thank you from the core of my
heart for all that you did for the good cause of officers Community. NBOA shall
always remain indebted to you for all the efforts and contribution you made.
We
will miss you and your leadership in times to come , at the same time, we will
continue to draw inspiration from your words and deeds of the past...I also
solicit your continued relationship with NBOA as an active senior member and as
and when we call upon you to lend a supporting hand please do oblige us...i
also take this opportunity to express my deep regrets to you in case by my words
or deeds if i have ever offended or hurt you...just forget and forgive as an
elder brother does to a younger brother.
I take
this opportunity to invite you to our next National Council Meeting at Shimla
slated for 16 & 17/05/2013 as our honoured guest. Do attend it, all us will
be privileged to have you amongst us.
