APPEAL
Dear members,
As you may have observed that in past 8-10 months a number of disturbing news items have appeared in print media pertaining to NABARD ,specially on BCG , appointment of chairman , Direct Financing etc.etc. Needless to say that because of this the corporate image of NABARD has taken a hit and our impeccable corporate image assiduously built over the last 30 years is under threat. We thought that the Bank will Issue rejoinder/Press Release etc and adequately take-up the matter with concerned News-papers so as to set the record straight and redeem the corporate image and position. However, the same, as per our knowledge has not happened as of now. As such we have now, after patiently waiting for so long, requested the management that it’s high time that bank should issue adequate rejoinders to the Press & print media so as to put the records straight on all the issues raised by newspapers concerned.
We also know that media people have their own resources to get hold of news items and related information and we are also very sure that all of our members are observing more than due diligence while interacting, if at all , with the media persons, in so far as official matters are concerned. Still, as a responsible representative body of officers, we take this opportunity to gently remind and appeal to all our members to be very careful while dealing with media and outsiders on the matters of official propriety.
