Grant of Personal Promotion-Officer Retiring on 30/06/2012

Please refer to our formal and informal requests on the captioned subject. In this connection we would once again request you that you may kindly instruct the concerned officials to ensure that PP benefits are provided to all eligible officers in grade 'D' who have completed two years in the particular grade on or after 01/01/2012 and have retired/getting retired from banks services during the period 31/01/2012 to 30/06/2012.

On queries from HRMD it has been told that the review for granting PP to eligible grade 'D' officers shall take place in July '2012 and only those officers who remain in active services as on the date of review shall be considered.

Sir, you will very kindly agree that this stance of the bank is discriminatory in nature for all those grade 'D' officers who , for no faults of their shall be d emitting office during the first half of the calendar year and it belies the tenet of natural justice. Incidentally , the issue was discussed during the Annual discussions held with AINBOA in the year 2011 and it was agreed upon by the HRMD that such reviews shall take place within the one month of completion of two years in grade 'D' for providing PP benefits to the concerned officers.

We, therefore, once again beseech upon you to issue suitable instructions so that necessary relief is provided to all such officers.
