NOTICE

Dear Unit Secretary,

Boycott of Lunch/Dinner Being hosted by Bank

It has come to our knowledge that the Bank has decided to arrange Lunch/Dinner for those Regional Offices (Gujrat, Tamil Nadu & AP) who have achieved targets under certain specified Business operations.

NBOA has discussed this decision of the Bank and we feel that this decision of the Bank gives a message that NABARD is functioning in isolation and not as a UNIT and the core business of NABARD is not important as such.

Furthermore, at a time when Bank is initiating certain steps/decisions which are adversely affecting the status of NABARD as DFI, downsizing of NABARD is being aimed, all the career prospects of officers from grades 'A' to 'F' are being choked and our service conditions vis-a-vis parity with RBI is threatened and when our officers are not being even reimbursed the actual expenses which they may incurr on transfer process and when bank is in no mood to sit and discuss the things/apprehensions with NBOA, participating in such festivities does not augurs well for the officers community.  

When country's economy is passing through such a turmoil we request austerity on all such add on expenditures.

It is also a matter of great satisfaction that as per our discussions held with Sri V.K.Bhosle, AINBEA is also not participating in such Lunch/Dinners and a seperate notification to their membership/Unit is being issued by AINBEA.

We call upon you that you may adequately apprise the officers of our stand and very politely convey the decision of the Central Unit to your respective OICs.
