Annual Discussions on 31/01/2012
Many thanks for holding the Annual Discussions with the NBOA on 31/01/2012. More importantly we are thankful to you and all our senior executives for giving us a patient hearing and making the discussions a fruitful exercise.
We are sure that the discussions held on 31/01/2012 shall pave way to a new beginning in our joint efforts to make NABARD a still more strong , vibrant and respected developmental Bank in times to come.
As a sequel to the discussions held on 31/01/2012 and subsequently with CGM (HRMD) in his chamber on 01/02/2012 we request you to kindly-
1. Initiate the process of conduct of Interviews to fill up the vacancies in Grade 'B' and 'C' at the earliest.
2. Put on hold direct recruitment of grade 'B' till further discussions with NBOA so that a way out can be worked out on the basis of mutual understandings on the issue.
Meanwhile , as decided by the CEC at its meeting on 01/02/2012 at Mumbai we are sending an appeal to all the Board members to reconsider their decision of allowing the Bank to resort to direct recruitment in grade 'B' as it will adversely impact the career progression of 500 odd existing grade 'A' officers of the Bank.
