APPEAL TO MEMBERS

APPEAL

CREATION OF CONTINGENCY & LEGAL FUND

Dear Member,

As you may be aware that survival of officers’ community with dignity and safeguarding of their legitimate interests is being made difficult by each passing day. The new ‘Recruitment & Selection Policy ‘ is one of the latest examples of the divisive and destructive measures in offing which will adversely affect the very survival of the officers community in our very own organization.
Sensing the need and measures which may be required to be taken up by AINBOA in order to protect our honor and interest as also our beloved organization, the National Council at its meeting held on 31/10/2012 at Mumbai has decided to create a CONTINGENCY & LEGAL FUND which would be used to seek legal remedies in times of urgency and also to extend financial and moral support to individual members in case of any serious contingencies. The fund shall be managed through a separate bank account to be opened at Mumbai and its each transaction shall be sanctioned by a committee comprising of President, Vice-President Treasurer and Advisor of the AINBOA. General Secretary and Organising Secretary shall recommend to the committee any proposal they deem fit towards the usage of the Fund.
KEEPING IN VIEW THE ABOVE THE MEMBERS ARE REQUESTED, IN ORDER TO CREATE A CORPUS FOR THE FUND, TO-
1. Contribute a sum of Rs.2500/= (equivalent to average one days salary) IF
you were treated on duty/on tour by the bank on 28/02/2012 and your wage cut was not effected to, the day when all of us observed Mass Casual Leave and were subjected to a day’s wage cut.
 2. In addition to the above members are requested to contribute generously any amount they wish to this fund voluntarily for the cause of making the Organisation strong.
Subsequent to the creation of the Fund, it shall be augmented every month by contributing 10% of the monthly subscription collected by the central unit from all the members.
Please ensure that contributions to the fund made by a crossed cheque/DD favouring ‘NABARD Officers Association, Mumbai’.
Thanking you and with Fighting & Fraternal Greetings

(Dr D S Chauhan)
General Secretary
