No. NBOA.MUM/157B/2011-12 20 December 2011
The Chairman
NABARD
Head office
Mumbai
Dear Sir
Discussions with NBOA on Repositioning & Restructuring Exercise & other important HR issues
In spite of our repeated requests and persuasion it is painful, but a fact, that we have failed to get any audience with you on the captioned subject. Needless to say that what NBOA is requesting the bank is not only its responsibility but also of paramount
importance to all our members.
importance to all our members.
That in spite of our best efforts we are not being able to have a discussion on the captioned subject which has led us to believe that our very own management has no faith on NBOA ,which is not only a recognised representative body of officers but is also an important link in the scheme of participatory management.
Now that many administrative decisions which are adversely affecting our officers have been initiated and with no signs of any discussions with the NBOA, we are forced to beseech the intervention of the Board of Directors of the bank. We shall as such be requesting the honorable members of the board as also the Hon'ble Members of Parliament who comprise the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation for a favourable intervention on the issue.
In case the issues remain unresolved, NBOA has also decided to issue a call to its membership to avail a day’s mass casual leave on 06/01/2012 as a mark of protest. Needless to say that NBOA has been left with no other option but to resort to these painful decisions.
Yours Sincerely
(Dr.D.S.Chauhan)
General Secretary
