CORRIGENDUM TO LUNCH HOUR GATE DEMONSTRATION

Dear Secretary,

Please refer to my earlier email advising you to organise lunch hour demonstration on 05/10/2011. I have been approached by many units situated in Eastern part of our country and they have advised that most of the ROs in east viz. Kolkata, Ranchi, Patna, Guwahati etc are closed on 05/10 & 06/10/2011 on account of Puja holidays.

AS SUCH IT HAS BEEN DECIDED TO RESCHEDULE THE LUNCH HOUR DEMONSTRATION FROM 05/10/2011 TO 07/10/2011.

YOU ARE THUS REQUESTED TO ORGANISE THE LUNCH HOUR DEMONSTRATION ON 07/10/2011 ONLY. ALL OTHER INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THE DEMONSTRATION REMAINS UNCHANGED.

Dear Unit Secretary,

It has been decided to hold a lunch hour demonstration on 05/10/2011 to press for the following demands-

1. Revision and up gradation of Pension Scheme

2. Calling upon management to enter into dialog with NBOA on Restructuring & Repositioning exercise

3. To stop implementation of all the decision taken towards restructuring & repositioning of NABARD pending discussions and agreement with NBOA

4. To revisit and revise the DDMs package as per the agreed upon package with NBOA

5. To stop all the cases of harassment and victimization of officers.

We shall be forwarding a letter addressed to all the members shortly and you are requested to distribute a copy each to all the members of your unit-either in soft or hard form and you may brief your membership during the lunch hour demonstration on 05/10/2011 as per the content of the letter under reference.

We are requesting the Secretary of the All India Retired Officers Association to ask his members to attend the demonstration on 05/10/2011 as we are pressing for the revision & up gradation of pension scheme too. You are requested to contact the retired officers at your centre and request them to participate in the demonstration.

We are also sending the communication of holding lunch hour demonstration to SIDBI Officers Association and they shall be holding the demonstration on 05/10/2011 at their respective centres . You may contact the local unit of SIDBI Officers Association too and ensure that the President/VP of your unit visit them at the time of demonstration on 05/10 2011 and also request them to depute one or two of their office bearers to our office at the time of our demonstration.

Ensure full participation and successful conduct of the demonstration.
