Dear Unit Secretary,
It has come to our knowledge that our honourable Chairman, while addressing the Staff on his official visits to various ROs, has been indicating that 'Association representatives are not allowed to interact with him during such meetings'. It appears that chairman feels that if any one of us are NBOA representatives than we are not the officers of NABARD (by which capacity all of us attend the staff meetings).
We have been taking this to our stride thinking that it may be one of those one-off expressions of thought by our chairman. But now that it has become a routine instruction from him the following is decided-
Since all the officers are members of the NBOA hence all of us are representatives of NBOA in one way or other, on the other hand all of us are officers of NABARD and it is our moral duty to honour the instructions of Chairman, the highest authority of our bank in letter and spirit, as such, we call upon all the members to-
'NOT TO SPEAK, INTERACT OR GIVE ANY FEED BACK HENCEFORTH DURING STAFF MEETINGS ADDRESSED BY THE HONOURABLE CHAIRMAN WHERE AT INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN BY HIM THAT ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATIVES NEED NOT SPEAK'
You are requested to widely circulate this call to all your members and also ensure its implementation as and when such Staff Meetings are conducted by the bank.
